Kaszuby is located in the Madawaska Valley township in Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada. Wilno is the first and oldest Polish settlement in Canada. The original settlers in this area, circa 1858, were from the Kaszuby region Kashubian from the then Prussian area of Poland. are a unique ethnic community with their own language and culture, which is closely related to Polish.

Today, Kaszubs are proud to maintain their heritage and the area is a popular tourist and camping destination for Polish Canadians. Many own cottages in the area and there is a strong Polish scouting community that organizes regular summer camps and events.
Located only 2 hours from Ottawa, 4 hours from Toronto and in close to Algonquin Provincial Park, the area provides many recreational and eco-tourism opportunities for families and individuals. Enjoy the scenic vistas, fishing, swimming, boating, white-water rafting, canoeing and bird-watching opportunities, and the charms of small-town life.
